Nutrition Programme Overview

We recommend a healthy eating programme based around the principles of low GI, low fat  and portion control.

  1. Participants eat 3 meals and 3/4 snacks a day in order to control blood sugar levels.
  2. Individuals will learn to improve their food choices.
  3. Education programme includes portion control, balancing carbs/fats proteins,food labels,goal setting, dealing with food cravings v hunger, and assertiveness training.
  4. Each person completes a daily food and exercise journal
